ABOUT THIS APP The enemy of our souls hates it when we pray. That is why consistency in prayer is one of the most difficult of Christian disciplines. At the same time, consistency in prayer that leads to effective fervent prayer, is powerful and rewarding. As much as we are convinced of our need to pray, and our obligation to pray, most of us never really believe that we have learned to pray, the way we ought to pray. Why is our prayer life dry? Why does it sometimes feel like our prayers are bouncing off the ceiling? I would like to suggest it has something to do with the condition of our hearts when we come before God.

The How’s Your Prayer Life app is designed to walk you through a process of prayer that will prepare your heart to commune with God. Each day you will spend a few minutes focusing on Who God Is and who you are. Ultimately, you will praise God for His character and acknowledge the ways your character separates you from Him. As you are reminded of Who God Is and who you are, your heart becomes open to hear from God and only then are you prepared to make your request of Him. The prayer tracker portion of the app will organize your prayer life, but more importantly, it will remind you of ways that you can be a blessing to those for whom you pray. And when you work to find ways to love those around you, it is pleasing to our Lord.

I am not a master of prayer. I am just like you. Too busy. Too distracted. A sinful child that needs her Daddy. Like you, I need more of Him and much less of me. I pray that my How’s Your Prayer Life app will help you keep your heart prepared for prayer so that as you pray, you will know the love of Christ and be filled with all the fullness of God. And with that, ultimately you will bring glory to His Name and inspire others to do the same.

Forever His,
